VERONICA OWENS
Uniqueness of Self was founded with the idea of providing support, encouragement, and resources to low-income males suffering from mental health conditions. We advocate for young men who have been mislabeled, mistreated, and misunderstood. There is a misconception of those struggling with mental health especially underprivileged young men. By raising awareness, providing guidance, and imparting the message that "it's okay to not be okay", Uniqueness of Self helps these young men to cope with and overcome the stress and anxiety caused by everyday life. We are a safe space where young men can feel nurtured, valued, and prepared to face life's challenges.
